English: The Nordic Permaculture Festival 2020 was postponed due to Covid-19. The Festival plans for 2021 are on their way. Hopes are high! The Nordic Permaculture Festival is organized by Holma folkhögskola and Holma Omställning. The event takes place from August 5th to 8th. See our location on the map below.
Holma folkhögskola is a school rooted in adult Popular Education. It rests firmly on a vision based in Permaculture Ethics; Earth Care, People care and Fair Shares. Holma has clear aims in transitioning our students, and society at large, towards a regenerative future. The school is governed using Sociocracy.

The Nordic Permaculture Festival is a traveling festival. The Festival was started in Denmark and the hosting now rotates between the Nordic countries; Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland.
The Nordic Permaculture Festival is an event where we exchange knowledge, skills, and ideas through workshops, music, food, and community. For those wondering, Permaculture is ‘the conscious design and maintenance of agriculturally productive ecosystems which have the diversity, stability, and resilience of natural ecosystems…it is a system of assembling conceptual, material, and strategic components in a pattern which functions to benefit life in all its forms’ (Mollison 1988, ix)
Svenska: Den nordiska permakulturfestivalen 2020, ställdes in pga Covid-19. Men planerna för en festival 2021 är på gång. Peppen är hög! Nordiska permakulturfestivalen 2021 anordnas av Holma folkhögskola och Holma Omställning. Den äger rum mellan 5-8 augusti.
Nordisk permakulturfestival är en vandrande festival. Festivalen startades i Danmark 2011 och roterar nu mellan de nordiska länderna.; Danmark, Norge, Sverige, Finland och Island.
Holma folkhögskola är en skola som är uppbyggd med en vision i enligt med permakulturens etik; omsorg om planeten, omsorg om människan och rättvis föredelning. Holma har en klar målsättning att hjälpa kursdeltagarna och samhället i stort, att ställa om våra liv till en mer regenerativ framtid. Skolan styrs självorganiserat med hjälp av sociokrati.
Holma Omställning är en idéell stödförening för Holma folkhögskola.
